  1. "EITHER tell me what book you're grateful you read recently OR what in life you're grateful for this year."

  14. I'm grateful to have re-read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. There's reasons we're all here, even if they don't seem to show themselves at times. Sylvia's book, and subsequent poetry books (having been recently published) help to show this :)

  21. I'm grateful to be able to read at all. Until recently I was dealing with some severe vision problems and for about a year I hadn't been able to read any books, which was terrible, since I'm a voracious reader and was used to reading at least two books a week for the last 45 years. But something as simple as drops in my eyes has made a world of difference. So while I'm grateful to have read Elizabeth George's wonderful new novel, I'm truly grateful merely to have been able to open the cover and read it.
