Congrats to Panny Reid on her new release: Dating-ish!

20170306 Dating ish 01 (2)
'Dating-ish' can be read as a standalone, is a full length 100k word novel, and is book #6 in the Knitting in the City Series.

There are three things you need to know about Marie Harris
1) She's fed up with online dating 2) She's so fed up, she's willing to forego the annoyance and consider more creative alternatives, and 3) She knows how to knit.
After the most bizarre and irritating first date in the history of humankind, Marie is looking for an alternative to men. With the help of her friends, she quickly identifies a few possibilities:
Need a cuddle? Use a professional cuddler. Need affirmation? Get yourself a life coach. Need an orgasm? Try orgasm meditation! Why does she need the hassle of a romantic partner when she can meet all her needs with paid services?
But then her irritating date resurfaces. And he's not at all the person she thought he was. And he suggests a different--and crazier--solution to her dilemma . . .
As everyone knows (or will soon come to realize), traditional relations between humans are a thing of the past. Robots are our future. And if robots are our future, then why do we need other people at all?

State of Affairs update

Gosh, guys....I just wanted to
let you know what's going on with new books this year. Between kids and the chaos of the veterinary world, I managed to write a few more books. *whew*

There's a new paranormal romance coming out July 3: The Way You Bite. It's not in either of my previous series. So excited for you to meet Lexan and Vee and enter the world of vampires and werewolves.

The next in the Keepers of the Veil series is scheduled to release in September, Hooked on a Witch. I know there are those of you waiting to read this one. Shannon gets her story...finally. And we get to meet a new guy who's a demigod. My my do these two have some wild chemistry.

Falling for the Billionaire Wolf- Review & Giveaway

Congrats to Sasha Summers on her new release! And so thrilled to have had a chance to read the ARC. Review below...

What it's about:

When Jessa Talbot’s boss offered her a promotion, she agreed—no questions asked. Her family needed the money, but fighting the attraction she feels for her brooding employer is tough. Worse, she instantly bonds with his infant son she’s caring for. But this is a temporary solution and she can’t get attached to either of them. Finnegan Dean is cursed. He’s a nicely dressed monster, the wolf inside always looking for a way out. But there are two things he and his wolf agree on. They must protect baby Oscar and Jessa—his mate. While the wolf hungers to seal their bond, Finn fights the instinct. After all, if he really cares for her, he’d never doom her to the life he lives.

My thoughts:
(4.5 stars) Books centered around a baby aren't may fav since it's been done too much already. BUT Sasha Summers delivers a story that worked. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the ride. There's action, romance and an interesting take on werewolves. The baby is not the heroine's (Jessa). It's his (Finn), but you knew that from the blurb. As is typical for shifter books the hero and heroine are destined/fated/matched. Makes them getting together a given, but it's not as expected. There's a lot of angst, mostly on his part. There are twists to this poignant story of two strangers coming to grips with intense chemistry amidst danger and the challenges of an infant.
I sniff a series here and will be reading the next!
(ARC received from publisher)

Sasha is part gypsy. Her passions have always been storytelling, history, romance, and travel. Her first play was written for her Girl Scout troupe. She’s been writing ever since. She loves getting lost in the worlds and characters she creates; even if she frequently forgets to run the dishwasher or wash socks when she’s doing so. Luckily, her four brilliant children and hero-inspiring hubby are super understanding and supportive.
