Vacation wasn't in the cards for me this summer. I did a last-minute move cross-country, leaving my hometown of 20 years. It's fun to settle into my new home, but this was enough travel (and expense) for one summer!
We split out vacations this year, taking a cruise in the spring (an Eastern Carribbean cruise at the end of March/beginning of April) and we are taking another cruise in October (Panama Canal, from Los Angeles to Miami). We did some local things like go to the new Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando, and this weekend for my husband's birthday we will be spending the weekend in Sarasota. However, there have been flesh eating bacteria in the water, so probably so swimming in the ocean for me!
My favorite vacation spot is Cape Cod, Massachusetts!
