Snarkology Halloween Blog Hop
Help me celebrate my NEW RELEASE, the first in my Keepers of the Veil Series: Protecting His Witch, which releases October 27th!
**ONLY 99c FOR A LIMITED TIME**
This book was a blast to write. As you might notice for those of you into reading the Acknowledgements section, I couldn't give a nod of thanks to Misty, the dog, this time. During the editing of this book she ingested a sock not once, but three times. Yes, three. You don't even want to imagine the messes that accompanied those incidents. In July of this year I thought she'd finally eaten the one that would be the end (she even ran a super high fever). I did IV
fluids at home through the weekend. She pulled through only to ingest something else a few weeks later. Oh so cliche: You can't teach an old dog...yeah, you know the rest. So, you're thinking why didn't I prevent her from access to those items she likes to eat (i.e., anything fabric, plastic or wooden and small)...ha ha ha. I've got a five-year old. My floors are a mine field of various toys.
We love Misty. She's hands down the best dog we've ever had...well, between times of eating that which she wasn't supposed to.

I had to laugh at the antics your garbage gut dog. We had one of those, too.
ReplyDeleteI like to watch the littlest kiddies in their Halloween costumes. They are just too cute and they really aren't sure what to do. They do get excited when I give them candy though.
ReplyDeleteHi Zoe,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking part in the Halloween Hop! :-)
I enjoy all the great decorations and costumes. Such great ideas some people have.

My favorite thing about halloween is watching the kids having the time of their lives. They are so carefree and all they care about is having a good time ;)

My favorite thing about Halloween is handing out candy to the cute little kids.
