Books to Movies Giveaway Hop
Books to movies...I'm always thrilled to see the realization of a book I loved to the big screen. Maybe it's because I'm a movie nut. All right, there's also trepidation they'll change the story or cast poorly, but sometimes it's done well (they paid attention to the author):
When the actor in the movie perfectly matches the character in the book.
And sometimes the movie has absolutely nothing to do with the book:
What book made into a movie do you think did a GOOD job representing the book?

I think The Hunger Games did a really good job though I wish they'd added more details.
ReplyDeleteYes!! Agreed.
DeleteI loved HIGH FIDELITY...the change from London to Chicago somehow made perfect sense, since the tone stayed the same. (Plus, Jack Black as Barry!!!)

What a fun movie! Haven't thought about that one in a long time. Thanks.
DeleteThe Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The book was different from the original radio play, as was the telly series, so for the film to be changed a bit wasn't strange.
