New Release, Two reviews and Rebecca Yarros hits it out of the park!!

Wow, I got the chance to read not one, but TWO Rebecca Yarros books. These are the first two in her new Renegades series. New Adult novels. Both can be read as stand alones and these are books you'll want to pick up.

My thoughts:

Rebecca Yarros delivers again! Loved the Flight and Glory series (see my other reviews), but this is so much fun. We’ve got our relationship-damaged and cautious heroine, Leah, assigned to tutor Paxton Wilder on a round the world classroom at sea. She has to do it to keep her scholarship. Wilder is, well, wild—an X-Games, stunt afficiando reminiscent of Xander Cage from Triple XXX in that he videos himself and crew do crazy stunts for online production. Wilder has his own investment in being tutored and keeping his grades up which is linked to inheriting family money to keep his crazy crew in business. The two could not be more dynamically opposite, which is at bit cliché. However, it works. Their story is poignant and sweet with highs and lows as he shows her how to live on the wild side and she shows him how to do a relationship by healing each other. Great read.

And I thought Wilder was great! This is a new top fav for me. Ah-maz-zing!  We knew Landon’s (aka Nova, short for Casanova) moment was coming after the first book in the series. We’ve got our hawt X-games snowboarding guru currently involved in filming a documentary with extreme stunts while participating in a study at sea program. He walked away from love two and a half years ago and has been on a non-stop sex marathon since. Then, enter the girl he left, Rachel, who’s stuck on this at sea program for another six months. Her plan was to ignore him, but he wants her forgiveness and to start over. Second chance love at its best. Highly recommend.
