Review & Giveaway: The Crown Princess
So pleased to share my thoughts on this new romance...
About The Crown Princess
Dependable Crown Princess of Cordova, Gwen, is dreading the day she gives up her life for her country. With the day of coronation looming, Gwen decides to make a bucket list of crazy things she wants to do before the big day. Taking her list, she travels to Las Vegas, a place where no one will question wild behavior and she can be just another normal person on vacation in sin city. Enlisting the help of Alex, a notorious entitled playboy, she finds herself checking off more than just the items on the list. Is she willing to risk it all and take a chance at falling in love? Fiercely independent Alex, the black sheep of his family, was raised in the hotel business. Breaking out on his own, he built a successful Resort and Casino on the strip in Las Vegas. When Gwen asks for Alex’s help on completing her list of ‘bad girl’ activities he readily accepts. Who else knows how to let loose but the Billionaire Playboy himself. But as he starts helping her with the list, he begins to realize that this Princess might be worth trading in his bad boy image.Get Your Copy Today:

MY THOUGHTS:
Who can resist a story about a royal? This story features Gwen, the royal sibling about to take the crown of Cordova but she decides to "take a break" for the first time ever and leave it all behind for a whirlwind vacation in Las Vegas where her brother is working. Well, it happens she has an insta-love connection with her brother's business partner and roommate, Alex. I suppose it's more like instant lust which then slowly builds into love. Our author does a talented job conveying their attraction and building their relationship. I didn't entirely understand why after her brother agrees for her to visit him, and to take responsibility for her security, he's suddenly and completely unavailable to do anything with her. This conveniently leaves her in the care of Alex. But, of course, it pushes our h/H together and gave that love connection a chance to go from smoldering to hotness.
There's a huge huge need to suspend reality to thoroughly enjoy this novel (no royal about to ascend to the crown would have any of this happen, most of all be allowed to travel without and entourage of security; let me clarify she's taking the crown now, not in the murky future but right now). Once you do so, this book is a cute, fast paced, and enjoyable ride. The characters are fun and well developed. If you're in the mood for reading a princess-finding-her-prince love story, then this is your weekend read.
